Artist Statement
AS AN ARTIST, I HAVE COME TO RECOGNIZE THAT ART IS A PROCESS. THE ACT OF CREATION HAPPENS NOT ONLY WITHIN, BUT IS OCCURRING ALL AROUND US WITH EVERY BREATH.
ART IS LITERALLY LIFE ITSELF, UNFOLDING IN ITS DIVINE ORDER AT EVERY MOMENT.
MY ART, IN ITS MANY FORMS, IS A REFLECTIVE STORY OF MY SELF-LOVE JOURNEY. I SEEK TO REPRESENT MY OPENNESS TO CREATE THE MANY DIVERSE STORIES THAT EXIST WITHIN THE NARRATIVES OF SELF-LOVE, DECOLONIZATION, AND UNIVERS-ALL CONNECTIVITY.
THIS COLLECTION SERVES AS A SPACE TO EXPRESS THE UNCOVERED TRUTHS I HAVE REVIVED THROUGH MEDITATION. IT IS IN THIS JOURNEY THAT I HAVE RAMEMBERED MY INDIGENEITY WHICH CONNECTS ME TO ALL LIFE AMONG THIS EARTH SHIP & BEYOND.
